19 headache patients that did not have all the sinus symptoms, went through sinus surgery to manage or treat their headaches. The majority of patients reported that they had a decrease in the pain after anesthesia to their nose was applied. Evaluating the CT scans of the patients had shown that many of them had abnormalities in their sinus. Most of the patients either had a decrease in their pain and how severe it was or the number of times they got headache had decreased after the surgery.
